Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute.

Kwatekeh Africa is an IRS recognized 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization whose mission is to alleviate poverty in rural Liberia through initiatives that, once established, can largely be sustained by local efforts. We also help meet the daily needs of some of the most vulnerable members of Liberian society.

We are motivated by God's words spoken by Isaiah to "spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed."

We currently work at a leprosy center, an orphanage and three nearby villages and are engaged in fish farming, rice cultivation, vegetable and fruit tree production, providing access to clean drinking water, housing and school renovations, caring for leprosy patients and elderly residents, and providing medical care to all in need.

Kwa-tee-kuh

Kwatekeh (kwa-tee-kuh) is a word from the Kpelle language, which is spoken in much of Liberia, that means “To work together.”
